A portion of the FBFR ticket sales will be donated to a non profit organization geared to providing combat veterans with well-deserved family vacations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to keep my ticket with me?

YES. You must have your ticket with you when weighing in a fish. If you have purchased a ticket online, be sure to print your confirmation email and keep it with you.


Do I need a boat to fish?

No way! You can fish from a boat, a bridge, the beach, in a mud puddle…from anywhere!

How do I know if I can fit under the Ono Island Bridge? How high is the Ono Bridge?

- 24' High and 34' Wide


How do the Competitive Championships work?

There is a Speckled Trout, King Mackerel, Offshore Slam, Red Snapper Jackpot, Trash Can Slam, and Junior Trash Can Slam at this year's Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo. Each division requires additional entry costs per team or per person. All anglers fishing in the competitive championships must possess their own Adults Division Ticket, with the exception of the Junior Trash Can Slam which requires a Kid's Division Ticket. Is it kid friendly?

YES! This is a very family friendly tournament and environment. We will have a kids division in our rodeo where junior anglers 12 and younger compete in 12 divisions (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place award packages in each category). A fish viewing station will be available for everyone to take a look at all the awesome fish that has been caught. There will be plenty of live music, food, and drinks for all ages


What times are the weigh in open?

Weigh in is Friday, June 7 : 2-7 PM AND Saturday, June 8: 2-7 PM. If you aren't in line by the end time, you cannot weigh in. There will be music, food, activities, and drinks for everyone of all ages going on both days at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club and Flora-Bama Ole River Grill so come join the fun Friday and Saturday.


When is the awards ceremony?

The awards ceremony is Sunday, June 9th at 11:00am at Flora-Bama Yacht Club Stage


Where can I buy tickets?

Online at florabama.catchstat.com or hit the "Enter Tourney" button on this page. Tickets can be purchased online until 11:59 pm on June 6th.

Where can I leave from?

You do not have to sign out from any specific location.  You may begin fishing at 12:00 am on Friday, June 7th.  Fish may be caught from any location between Cape San Blas, FL and the TX/LA border. You must weigh in no later than 7pm, June 8th.


Where is Flora-Bama Yacht Club located?

By Car: Across the street from Flora-Bama Lounge, Package and Oyster Bar directly behind the Liquor Store on Ole River. By Boat: 30.2822 Degrees N, 87.5186 Degrees W


Where is the weigh in?

Next to the Flora-Bama Ole River Grill on the Beach Area. All boats that cannot fit under the Ono Island Bridge, please bring your fish in by vehicle.


Who all needs a fishing rodeo ticket?

Everyone participating in the fishing rodeo must have a ticket.  All ages require tickets. Captains and deckhands are not required to have a ticket IF they do not fish during the tournament.
